Welcome to the CSA!

Are you new to Concordia University of Edmonton, or have no idea of what Our Concordia Students’ Association is made up of?
Look no further! You are in the right place!

The CSA became a legally incorporated Alberta society on October 10, 2018, establishing its status as the official, independent student government for undergraduate and after-degree students at CUE.

Since then, CSA has functioned as a student-led, non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing student life via representation, services, events, and advocacy across institutional and governmental levels. All students enrolled in undergraduate and after-degree programs are seen as members of CSA and are represented by elected executives and councillors working to support their needs and interests on campus.

Our CSA is run by elected student leaders, passionate staff, and dedicated volunteers who are committed to making your time at Concordia memorable by supporting, representing, and enriching your student experience.

For years, CSA has worked to enhance student life through advocacy, services, events, and leadership opportunities. Whether you’re looking for academic support, wellness resources, a place to unwind, or a way to get involved, CSA is your go-to hub on campus.

Visit the CSA Office on campus to connect with us, meet your student leaders, or just hang out in a welcoming environment designed for students, by students. From club support to Thunderfest, free food events, student discounts, campaigns, and more, we’ve got something for everyone.

If you’re a returning student, welcome back! We’ve got your favorite programs returning, along with new surprises on the way. Keep an eye on your student email and our social media to know more about events, exciting news, prizes, discounts, etc, to meet up with our fellow students. The bottom line? The CSA is here for you, academically, socially, financially, and emotionally.

Letter from the Executives

To our fellow students,

Welcome to a new year at Concordia University of Edmonton! Whether you’re stepping on campus for the first time or returning for another exciting year, we’re so glad you’re here and are proud to represent you.

As your Concordia Student Association (CSA) Executive Team, we are committed to fostering a campus where students are empowered, supported and heard. Our mission is simple: to enrich the student experience through advocacy, connection and representation. We strive to ensure your voices are heard, driving decisions from academia to campus events- ensuring that your time at Concordia is not only successful but meaningful.

At the CSA we believe in putting students first. That means leading the charge in your concerns in meetings with CUE, supporting student-led initiatives and clubs, hosting inclusive events, and stewarding your resources with care. We are here to support your own personal growth in and outside of the classroom and feel at home in this vibrant, diverse student body.

This year, we’re focusing on making the CSA more transparent, approachable, and responsive to student needs. Through clearer communication, more accessible services, and plenty of opportunities to get involved, we at the CSA are committed to strengthening our connection with students, amplifying your voices, and ensuring you feel supported, represented, and empowered throughout your university journey. CUE is shaped by you. Your voice matters. Your ideas matter. And together, we can make this year one of growth, impact, and connection.

Here’s to another year of learning, integrity, and community.

Together in support of students,
